My question on Fakebook asking "Are you a US Citizen?" was emphatically answered "Yes" by 99% of folks! What if I nicely told you that they were all ..... ❌ WRONG‼ My friend, if you were born in one of the 50 states you are NOT a 'US Citizen'! I repeat you are NOT a 'US Citizen'!! You are an AMERICAN! 🇺🇸 According to the law, ONLY those working directly for the federal govt. and those living in Washington, DC, and the territories of the US (Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands) are considered 'US Citizens'. OK so you may be asking "Well what's the big deal Brad? Why's it really matter?". I'll tell you why it matters! I'll tell you EXACTLY why it matters! It matters because ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUTION (ya know ... that grand ol' document we call The Supreme Law of The Land), ONLY 'US Citizens' ARE REQUIRED TO PAY FEDERAL INCOME TAX! If you do not live in Washington, DC, or one of the federal territories, or work directly for the federal govt., by law you are NOT required to pay federal income tax! Friend, for way too long now, through the deception of legalese, you & I have 'voluntarily' given our money away to our least favorite charity! No - this is NOT a joke!
